We are a union of nearly 900 members representing workers within the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, including the Forensic Mental Health Program (FMHP formerly MSH), Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP), Forensic Transition Services, and the Forensic Nursing Home. We also represent workers at the Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) facility in St. Peter and the Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Rochester.

Just in time for the holidays, the MAF laid off Visitor Services staff only four days after they filed their union petition to organize. The next day, the Marcianos closed the whole museum, indicating that they would rather cut and run on their obligations to the community rather than address employees’ concerns. 

Tacoma Art Museum's mission to “inspire broader perspectives and cultivate a compassionate future” can only be achieved if staff are treated with dignity and respect.

New York Public Library officially closed on Saturday, March 14, 2020 due to the Coronavirus and out of concern for the health and safety of the staff and the members of the communities we serve.
