Negotiations Update No. 7- Tentative Agreement Reached


1. Year 1, Across the Board wage increase of 1.5% for all members of the Local back dated to June 29, 2015

2. Year 1, Step progression back dated to October 1, 2015

3. Year 2, Across the Board wage increase of 1.5% for all members of the Local effective June 13, 2016 with one exception (see #4)

4. Year 2, Across the Board wage increase of 2.0% for all members at the top step of their salary grid

5. Year 2, Step progression effective October 1, 2016

6. Six (6) weeks PAID parental leave for birth mothers

7. Discipline Article: members will be told they can have union representation at investigatory meetings and will be asked to sign a waiver if they choose not to have representation. Waiver will be sent via email to the Local office.

8. MOU on geographic bumping units

9. MOU on respectful workplace

10. MOU/discussion on how our salary grids are maintained


Effective dates of back pay on your paycheck is yet to be determined but will be after the Regents’ meeting in February.
